What are alarm systems:

An alarm or security system is designed to detect movement through infrared sensors, motion sensors, door contacts or duress alarms. These devices are interconnected as one system and detect unwanted guests on your property or at your business. The system notifies you of any intrusion and triggers a siren deterring the intruder, providing a fast response to the situation.

How does it work

At the very basic level a security alarm system consists of a keypad to arm and disarm along with 2 or more motion sensors (Pirs) to detect any intruder on your property. This can then be scaled up to provide an even stronger security system, providing a higher level of security and protection.

But alarm systems are not just for your home, they protect millions of dollars of assets at international facilities around the world. By connecting many different types of systems and devices together, an alarm system offers you incredible protection on your most valued assets.

Combined with CCTV Cameras and Access Control Systems an alarm system offers a great security system for your home or business.

Alarm Monitoring

Alarm monitoring completes an effective alarm system. While some alarm systems just make lots of noise without actually providing monitoring or alerting you, a complete electronic security alarm system can do it all. Alarm monitoring can be either a self-monitored system through push notifications or through a base monitored, commercial grade monitoring centre.

While push notifications are a great option and mostly cheaper, there are limitations on this. By using a commercial monitoring centre you remove these limitations and can be sure that there always will be some form of response directly to your property. Even if you are out of reception or don’t have your phone on you, your Gold Coast home or business will be safe with our complete all-around monitoring.

What is alarm monitoring?

Alarm monitoring is fast communication between the security system of your home or business and the central station of your security provider. Your control panel records an emergency event and sends a signal to your central monitoring station, which then notifies the appropriate authorities to be sent to your home or business.

How does it work?

Even though alarm monitoring systems are slightly different to each other, the basics are similar in any security system. Your control panel is the centerpiece of the network of sensors, which may include door or window sensors, motion or smoke detectors. When sensors get triggered, your control panel sends a signal to the monitoring station. This signal will alert the monitoring company, who will then contact you. If you don’t respond, authorities will be notified to resolve the emergency event at your home or business.
