About This Project
Green Life needed a security solution that could scale consistently across multiple national retail sites, rather than a one-off installation designed for a single location. Evolve Security has now successfully delivered that solution across 7 sites, combining CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems into one consistent setup per site.
The result is full camera coverage of stock, a compliant audit trail of who enters and exits each site, staff duress protection, and temperature monitoring to keep goods within a safe range, all built around credentials that are unique to each site but work seamlessly across the wider Green Life portfolio.

The Brief
Green Life needed a security solution that could expand across multiple sites nationally without each one ending up with a different setup. The brief covered several requirements at once: clear CCTV coverage to keep stock fully accounted for, compliance with government body requirements around the safe and secure handling of goods, staff duress alarms for on-site safety, an audited log of who enters and exits each site, temperature monitoring to keep goods within a constant range, and intrusion alarms to protect each site after hours.
Every site also needed secure credentials that were unique to that location but couldn’t be duplicated, while still working consistently across the wider Green Life network.
The Challenges
Rolling out to sites located within shopping centres across the country meant working within each centre’s own requirements and restrictions, including noise limits, with no work permitted before 7 am outside of standard trading hours.
Coordinating the timing of internet and power connection with commissioning and handover was a recurring challenge, since the two didn’t always align, requiring careful scheduling to keep each site on track for completion.
How We Solved It
Evolve Security approached the Green Life rollout as a single, repeatable system rather than 7 separate jobs. iVSec turret and fisheye cameras were positioned to eliminate blind spots across stock and entry points, giving Green Life clear, consistent coverage at every site. Inner Range Inception access control was installed on all critical doors, with door-open-too-long alarms and door monitor sensors feeding into a compliant, auditable log of site access, using credentials unique to each location but built to work seamlessly across the entire Green Life portfolio.
The same Inception platform also powers each site’s intrusion alarm system, with duress indicators for staff safety, temperature sensors to keep goods within a safe range, and multiple PIRs strategically positioned at entry points. Each site was completed in around 8 weeks, working around shopping centre noise restrictions and coordinating commissioning around each centre’s own power and internet timelines. The result is a security system Green Life can manage consistently, site by site, as the network continues to grow.
